Our first adopt-a-highway event of the year…
Chinmaya Mission Columbus, as part of our community outreach program, adopted two roadways close to our Mission (Hyatt Rd between Sawmill Pkway & Steiz Rd; and Sawmill Pkway between Hyatt & Clark Shaw) to keep them clean throughout the year.
It’s a great opportunity to serve the community while having fun together outdoors.
Anyone 12 years or older is eligible to take part in this activity. Delaware County provides everything we need (safety vests, gloves, trash pickup tools, etc.), so you do not need to bring anything.
A group of enthusiastic volunteers came together and completed the first cleaning event of the year this weekend. It was great to see our Chinmaya family members face-to-face. Special recognition goes to our teen volunteers Ria & Neil Modak. Good job kids!
